Formation

Faith Formation

We seek to feed our natural curiosity about God, our greater purpose in life, and the world in which we live. Our appreciation of the important questions makes us unique. At Saint Andrew's, we don't shy away from tough questions:

  • Why do good people suffer?
  • Why can't I feel God's presence all the time?
  • What is God's will for my life?

While we may never fully answer those ultimate questions, by exploring them we gain understanding. Contact us for additional information about Faith Formation at Saint Andrew's.

Education for Ministry (EfM)

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year distance learning certificate program in theological education based on small-group study and practice. Since its founding in 1975, this international program has assisted more than 100,000 participants in discovering and nurturing their call to Christian service. EfM helps the faithful encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together. Saint Andrew's hosts one of several EfM classes in the Diocese of El Camino Real.
